Basingstoke Multicultural Forum has a representative of various Black and Minority ethnic communities living In Basingstoke and Deane Borough.

This Basingstoke based group was established to promote better understanding between different religions and cultures in the borough and to encourage social contact amongst different communities by organising social, religious, cultural and educational activities. It also aims to establish links with and offer consultations to the rest of the voluntary sector alliances and local authority networks, and thus provide a main channel through which culturally diverse communities can raise their issues.

The group believes in an inclusive membership and feels it vital that anyone with a connection to BME or having an interest in its future, be they white or black, should be welcomed as a member
