Voluntary Sector Support Funding - organisations supported in 2008/09
The Council's Community Safety & Development Portfolio currently provides grants totaling almost £500,000 to organisations which contribute to the well-being of the Borough's residents through Voluntary Sector Support Funding (the new name for Core Revenue Funding). The Council enjoys a positive working relationship with these partners and the funding is provided though Service Agreements.
The organisations are supported to provide, in most cases, direct services to our residents so please feel free to use the contacts details noted to make an enquiry yourself.
The organisations supported in 2008/09 are listed below, together with a brief description of the services provided and general contact details. Whilst the Borough Council supports these organisations it should be noted that they are independent, autonomous organisations and the Council is not directly responsible for the quality of services provided. If you are dissatisfied (or indeed satisfied) with the services provided please contact the Manager of the organisation directly in the first instance and not the Borough Council.
