Voluntary Sector Support Funding Eligibility Form
What is this form?
This form is for organisations seeking Voluntary Sector Support Funding from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and determines if your organisation\project is eligible to be considered for funding. Satisfying the criteria means that you will be invited to apply for Voluntary Sector Support Funding for the period 1st April 2009 – 31st March 2010, but in no way infers success with your application at this stage.

What Happens Next?
The Community Funding Officer will contact you very soon to discuss your enquiry further. If your organisation is eligible you will be contacted around 21 July 2008 to make a full application and full criteria for the scheme and a timetable can be found at the Voluntary Sector Support Funding page. If you’re organisation is not eligible the Community Funding Officer will provide alternative sources of funding for you to consider. Can I appeal?
Yes, if your organisation has been deemed ineligible and you wish to appeal please write, stating your case, to the Head of Neighbourhood Development whose decision is final:

Terms and Conditions
You will need to agree to the following terms and conditions to request this service. My Organisation:
- Is a voluntary\not for profit organisation which has a recognised governing document
- Is non political and does not have fund-raising as one of its key objectives
- Has open membership with at least 5 Trustees \Directors
- Holds no more than 6 months unrestricted reserves at the time of application
(Note: Funding allocations may be reduced if more than 6 months unrestricted reserves are held. Neither restricted nor ‘appropriate’ designated funds will be considered within this allowance. Further discussion may be required to clarify ‘appropriate’ designated funds but as a guide, redundancy costs or pension liability costs would be accepted. The Council expects external income to be generated and will generally reward those proactive in this area but must also consider actual financial need.
