Basingstoke and Deane Parish data
Parishes vary greatly in size - both in terms of area and population - and so a range of ouput is released from the Census, suitable for the different sizes.
"Headcounts" provide counts of all people, males, females and households in a parish. They are produced for all parishes. Headcount statistics can be found under "People" on this website.
"Parish Profiles" are designed to provide condensed summary results on a particular topic. There are four Parish Profiles relating Accommodation and Tenure, Households, People and Work and Qualifications. These are reproduced on this website. Where the parish is below the threshold of 50 people and 20 households the results for that parish will be shown as "not available" or " . . ". Statistics for the parishes of Popham and Weston Corbett are not available, therefore, in some of the data tables.
"Key Statistics" provide information for all topics covered by the Census and are more detailed than the Parish Profiles. These will become available on the Basingstoke and Deane`s Facts and Figures pages in the near future. In the meantime, they are available on the website of the Office for National Statistics.
For the Parish Profiles, select from the four headings of ACCOMMODATION AND TENURE, HOUSEHOLDS, PEOPLE and WORK AND QUALIFICATIONS.
