"A Profile of the Borough 2007" is the third annual publication bringing together a wide range of data, facts and information about the Borough and its people. The 2007 Profile rolls forward the data presented in the previous 2006 edition, updating the social, economic and environmental picture of the Borough with the most recent and up to date statistical releases.
New sources of data are continually being researched and included for analysis to help the Council monitor the Council Plan, to monitor the Community Strategy, Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy, and to monitor the Borough`s contribution to the Hampshire Local Area Agreement, Regional Economic Strategy and the recently announced CLG National Indicator set. New data for 2007 are:-

- Housing affordability
- Physical activity and healthy lifestyles
- Working age qualifications
- Key working age benefits
- Business survival rates
- Carbon Dioxide emissions
- Road accident statistics
A Profile of the Borough 2007 can be found in the PDF attachments below under the following chapter headings. From 2008, the Profile will become "The Profile of the Borough Online", web based and continually updated throughout the year as soon as new data is released, revised, or rolled forward.
