'A Profile of the Borough 2005' is the flagship Research and Information publication produced by the Policy and Partnerships Team. This will be an annual publication, and forms part of the series which includes the Research and Information Newsletter.
'A Profile of the Borough 2005' brings together a wide range of up to date facts and figures about the local population, the local economy and the local environment, providing a snapshot of the Borough set in context with Hampshire, the South East and the UK, and identifying local trends.
It can be used as a handy reference tool, as a starting point for more detailed research or a useful resource for anyone needing to know more about the Borough and its people.
The profile contains data from a variety of sources, including the Census, for example, the Labour Force Survey, Annual Business Enquiry, School and College Performance Tables, the Annual Public Health Report and Population Forecasts. A list of sources can be found at the back for further reference.
