Benefit Fraud - Report a Benefit Cheat
If you suspect somebody is claiming Benefits to which they are not entitled, please tell us about it. There are several ways you can do this:
- By telephone, on our freephone Fraud Hotline 0800 525927. This line is manned each weekday morning. Outside of these times there is an answerphone to take messages;
- By letter. Please address your letter to Anti Fraud Team, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hants RG21 4AH.
- By email.
- Online, please click here to complete our Benefits Referral Form online. This will be directed to our Fraud Investigators. You can print a copy of the form should you require one.
- Complete a Benefits Referral Form - please print and complete the referral form below.
You do not have to give your name when reporting Fraud. You may, however, give your name if you wish. This may help with our enquiries.
When reporting Fraud, please supply as much details as possible.
