Council Tax Leaflet 2011/2012

The government grant settlement for 2011/2012 for Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council was less than expected, but despite this there is no increase in the borough's part of the council tax for this year.  This is the result of careful budgeting, contingency planning, savings achieved over recent years and the council's ongoing efficiency drive.

Households in band D pay just 29p per day for a range of services. Once again this is the lowest council tax of all the districts in the county.
