Supporting people to grow business
The Diversity Business Network, main purpose is to:
- Support new and existing small businesses and social enterprises
- Offer membership to business owners or managers
- Provide opportunities for Members to network and talk with like-minded people
- Enable access other members and find out about their businesses/organisations
- Give up-to-date business and legal information
- Keep Members up to date with diversity and equality issues
- Identify and promote new trading opportunities and support Members to take up opportunities
- Build capacity in Members businesses or organisations and support them to win local public sector contracts, commission or procurements
- Lead on and develop collaborations, consortiums and partnerships to secure contracts & funding for the Network and for Members
- Assist Members to get wider exposure to the host community, local and new markets
- Link new and small businesses to mainstream agencies
- Develop Member business skills through the provision of appropriate bite-sized and customized training
- Promote leadership development
- Develop the communication skills and networks of small business and social enterprise owners/managers
Network meetings will be held 6pm - 8pm at:
