The new online risk assessment tool for those working in low risk, office-based environments is now available on HSE's website. This tool allows those working in low-risk office-based environments to do their risk assessment quickly and easily.
The Health and Safety Executive has developed this tool, in consultation with Local Government Regulation, and supports the approach for these businesses. It enables you to produce a tailored assessment by selecting the relevant hazards and thinking about how you control them.
The assessment should take around 20 minutes and can be found at:

The HSE already provides example risk assessments for 34 workplaces, including charity shops, estate agents and hairdressers.
