FREE 'Winning the Contract' course

The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills has recently launched an online procurement course that will help you to gain an understanding about public procurement and how to bid for public sector contracts, and can be accessed free of charge.

Businesses can register to access the 'Winning the Contract' course on the Business Link website by clicking here.

Winning the Contract is one of a number of Government initiatives designed to help businesses, and in particular SMEs, gain the necessary skills required to bid for, and win public sector opportunities. Developed and published by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), this authoritative resource helps businesses understand the procurement process, and how they can make it work for them.

The course, hosted by Learn Direct, takes a maximum of 3 to 4 hours and can be taken section by section as time allows.
