In addition to advertising for contracts above a certain value, we are currently looking at the way in which we publicise smaller value contracts. We have a register on the
South East Business Portal where you can find out about opportunities and let us know if you are likely to be interested.
If a contract value means that it needs to be advertised, we will publish an advertisement on the South East Business Portal and on some occasions in a local, national and / or trade newspaper, and in specialised and trade journals.
If it is value above the EU threshold for the relevant type of contract, it will be advertised in the Official Journal of The European Commission. The journal is only available via the internet (click here)
The advertisement will summarise the service we require, the relevant timescales and deadlines, and will ask for expressions of interest, usually in the form of a completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
We may also send copies to contractors we expect might be interested in the contract.
We do not keep approved lists of suppliers.
