The Borough Council’s Youth Strategy and accompanying Action Plan were adopted at Full Council in April 2011 and can be downloaded below.
The Strategy is based on 3 underlying principles namely:
- increased involvement
- improved awareness; and
- extending access
It also responds to four emerging priorities arising from consultation with young people, namely:
- having things to do
- getting to places
- having a say; and
- safer communities.
