All new members of staff within the council receive an induction telling them about the services the council provides and detailed information about the job they will be doing. During your time at the council you will have regular appraisals with your line manager ensuring that your current and future development needs are met.
Where appropriate, the council will provide in-house training, or payment for you to attend an external course. There may also be the opportunity to study on day release for further qualifications.
