If your green bin has been missed during collection, you can let us know via an online form.
If the bin was left on the edge of your property by 7am on the day of collection, we will collect the bin within 2 working days. If the bin was not, it will be collected on your next collection day.

Terms and conditions
- Green bins should not contain household waste or green garden waste. [You can order a separate Green Garden Waste service]. For a list of what materials are recyclable visit the recycling kerbside collection page.
- Your green bin must have been placed on the edge of your property nearest the road by 7am on the collection day.
- Missed green bins must be reported within 1 working day.
- Missed green bins (that meet the above criteria) will be collected within 2 working days. This does not include Sunday or Bank Holidays but may include Saturday.
- You will be asked to register for a My Basingstoke Account, if you have not already done so.
Please note this form is to report a missed Recycling (Green Bin) collection only. If you wish to report a missed Refuse (Grey Bin) collection please use this form instead.
