Close That Loop - Buy Recycled

Recycle Now LogoPutting your old newspaper or tin can into your green bin is only the first
step in the recycling process. Once the material has been collected, sorted
and sent to re-processors, it is then recycled into new products. Making a conscious effort to seek out and buy products made from recycled materials helps to close the recycling loop. The future of recycling ultimately depends
on there being a market for the materials collected.

Recycled Products

Many of the everyday items that you buy may already contain recycled material, such as your daily newspaper. In fact 70% of the content of newspaper produced in the UK contains recycled paper! Glass bottles also contain a high proportion of recycled material, sometimes as high as 90%.

There is also a huge range of innovative and exciting products which are being made by some of the leading designers in the country, all of which contain recycled material.
