Review of Parliamentary Constituencies

The Boundary Commission for England has published their initial proposed changes to Parliamentary Constituencies in England: reducing the number and making sure that each constituency has similar numbers of registered electors.

The review was published on 13 September 2011 and maps of changes proposed within the borough are held in the Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AH.   Alternatively, all of the documents can be viewed on the Boundary Commission's website:

The proposal for the Basingstoke Parliamentary Constituency is a very small ward boundary alteration.

The proposal for the North West Hampshire Parliamentary Constituency is to remove Tadley Central, Tadley South and Oakley and North Waltham Borough Wards and place these into the North East Hampshire Parliamentary Constituency.
