The Mayor’s Chaplain is chosen by the Mayor.
It is an honorary title and the Chaplain attends civic functions ie: Mayor Making, Civic Sunday, Armed Forces Day, Remembrance Day, Holocaust Day or any occasions when the Mayor is robed.
This year Cllr Biermann has chosen to have a Spiritual Mentor to advise and guide him through his year. Her name is
Sheila Peacock and she is from the Basingstoke Quaker Group.
