The Basingstoke Area Youth Orchestra has kindly agreed to hold a Spring Concert on Saturday 3 March 2012 at The Anvil in Basingstoke in aid of the Mayor's Charity Appeal.
A varied evening of music and song showcasing the talent of young musicians from Basingstoke and the surrounding areas.
Taking part are the Basingstoke Youth Orchestra, Basingstoke Area Youth Wind Orchestra, Basingstoke Area Youth String Orchestra, Basingstoke Area Youth Percussion Ensemble and the Basingstoke Area Youth Choir. They will be joined by choirs from Bishop Challoner Catholic Secondary School, Robert Mays School, The King's School, Dove House School, Fairfields Junior School, Oakley CE Junior School and St Mary's CE Junior School.
The evening will be compered by Howard Bentley, Mayor's Award recipient 2002/03.
