Until data from the 2011 Census starts to become available in July 2012, the 2001 data remains the most recently published.
Despite the age of the data, there are significant advantages to profiling from the 2001 Census, as it provides data on a very comprehensive range of topics and themes; it covers the entire population, rather than relying on sample surveys; and data is available at sub-borough (and sub-ward) level.
Data below is given for borough wards (with pre-2008 boundaries), parishes, and data for the borough as a whole.
