The council has adopted the Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Housing Mix and Lifetime Mobility Standards. The SPD is available to download by clicking on the image below. This SPD supports the Saved Housing Mix Policy C3 of the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Local Plan 1996-2011, which was adopted in July 2006. It outlines the background and justification for the Housing Mix Policy and provides more information about how the Policy is implemented through the Development Control process.
The SPD was adopted at the meeting of the Cabinet in June 2007 and follows periods of consultation at the Issues and Options stage (Sept/Oct 2006) and on a draft SPD (Feb/Mar 2007).
