The Basingstoke and Deane Over 55s Forum
The Basingstoke and Deane Over 55s Forum is a network and voice for people over 55 years of age living in the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane. Its main objectives are to:
- act as a consultative group putting the views of its members directly to public authorities
- be representative of a over 55s in the borough from all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds
- work for a better quality of life for older people
- publicise information regarding assistance, facilities and concessions available in the Borough
- maximize the role of over 55s in the provision of public and voluntary services
- oppose unfair discrimination on grounds of age.
