Basingstoke is set to be put on the festival map in 2012
The Basingstoke Festival will run from 22 June to 15 July 2012 and will include a vibrant programme of events for all ages to enjoy, at a range of venues across the borough. Activities will include a world premiere concert at The Anvil, community Shakespeare and the successful Basingstoke Live event, guaranteeing there will be something for everyone.
If you like street art or want to talk to a published author, if you love classical music or want to laugh out loud at a local comedian, or if you just want to sit back and relax with some music, then there will be an event for you to enjoy during the festival.
We have received over 80 registrations for the festival which will translate into 100 events over the three weeks in the summer.
A more comprehensive website is being developed and will be launched very soon along with a printed programme.
