'Basingstoke Has Bloomed' and are Silver Gilt winners of the 2010 South and South East in Bloom Competition
Working together for a clean green town
The Basingstoke in Bloom campaign encourages everyone in the borough to take pride and responsibility for their local environment. From creating front gardens to inspire, or joining a local conservation group to help protect your local wildlife, or even organising a local neighbourhood tidy-up, there are many ways in which you can take part.
UPDATE!
The competition did not run in 2011 but the latest news is that a group of local residents have declared an interest in launching a new look campaign in 2012. It's very early days and more volunteers are needed so please come along to a public meeting at the Council offices on Thursday 24th November at 7pm for an informal chat to see how you can contribute to this exciting project.
