The resident clubs at Down Grange are:
Basingstoke Rugby Club
The club consists of a 1st XV who currently play in the National rugby leagues (Division 3S), and are the current Hampshire Cup holders (for the fourth year in succession). There are also three senior sides playing in leagues of their own as well as a Veterans (Over 35) team playing social rugby.
To add to this Basingstoke Rugby Club also has an academy side (for 17 to 19 yr olds), a thriving ladies side (the Sirens) and youth teams at ages from 6 to 16 - comprising approx 900 plus people.
The club has a full-time Director of Rugby and a Community Development Officer, responsible for liaising and working with local schools and the community in general.

Basingstoke and Mid Hants Athletic Club
Down Grange athletic track, named the Harold Allerston Arena is the home of Basingstoke & Mid Hants Athletic Club. The club welcomes anyone with an interest in athletics from eight years old upwards to the veteran ranks.
Club members regularly compete in track and field events, road races, cross country and sports hall events for younger athletes.
The Club has number of internationals in it ranks and all are home produced. Starting as novices, these athletes have achieved a high standard via the club's coaching system.
Basingstoke Hockey Club
The Club have returned to the Maidenwell Pavilion. The upper floor of the Pavilion has been refurbished. Using the Artificial Pitch as its home venue, the Club caters for a membership of over 180 adults and juniors.
