In all Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council town centre car parks, charges apply 24 hours a day Monday to Sunday. See attachment at the foot of this page for details.
There is no charge payable in any of the car parks on Bank Holidays. The only exception to this is
Good Friday, when normal charges apply.
How to pay for parking
You can buy a pay and display ticket by cash. None of the pay and display machines accept debit or credit cards. The only card that is accepted is a pre-paid Parking Card which is available from the Civic Offices at an initial cost of £85.
Alternatively, you can pay using your mobile phone on the
ParkMobile system. To register initially, you need to provide your mobile phone number, car registration number and your credit or debit card details.
After that, all it takes is a quick phone call to log your car in the relevant car park at the start of your parking period and another call to log it out at the end of your stay. There's no need to find change for the machine and no need to display a ticket.
The parking charge and ParkMobile service fee will then appear on your credit or debit card statement.
