We have produced a number of documents that will help your health and safety responsibilities, these include an introductory booklet, a self audit checklist and a simple 'fill-in-the-blanks' Safety Policy.  These are available by clicking on the links below or by using the email facility at the bottom of the page to request copies.

This checklist has been designed to act as a simple way to check that you are getting the basics of health and safety right, it cross refers to the small business booklet.

Safety Policy

All businesses with 5 or more employees are required to have a written Safety Policy, this provides the basis for the management of health and safety.  Companies smaller than this are also encouraged to have a Safety Policy as good management practice.

The document below is a simple safety policy which you can customise for your own organisation.
