Licensing Document Search
This tool allows you to view various documents associated with licenses. This tool works in three stages:
- Stage 1 - Use the various search options to locate a list of licenses that match your search criteria.
- Stage 2 - Find the license you're interested in and choose to search for any documents associated with that license. Note: Only certain types of document are publicly available, for some license types you may find no documents are available.
- Stage 3 - Choose from the list of documents found, those which you'd like to view.

Search Tips
- Asterisk (*) can be used as a wild card in any field, but not on its own (and only at the end of the search string for an Address search, an Asterisk used other than at the end of an Address Search will be treated literally as a * character rather than as a wild card and your search may yield no results).
- If you wish to perform an address search using a Post Code, you must enter the full Post Code (however, you don't need to include the space). Using a wild card after a full Post Code will return no results, refrain from using wild cards at all in Post Code searches.
- Underscore (_) can be used as a single character wildcard in the Reference and Business Name fields only.
- Wildcards are not automatically applied to the start or end of any field to enable you to have more control over your searches.
- Searching by Business Name: The Business Name may not always be what you expect it to be, e.g. in the case of some Restaurants the Business Name attached to the license may be that of the franchisee's company, in other cases the Business Name held against the license could have a Ltd/plc or other suffix attached, use of wild cards at the end of Business Name searches is advised, etc. Likewise, just because a Business Name search returns results, don't assume you're seeing all licenses attached to that premises, Businesses that have many types of license don't necessarily have the same Business Name on each of their licenses. This makes the Address search the most reliable means of finding the license for which you wish to view documents for.
