• successfully prosecuted two food premises;
• investigated 208 accidents;
• investigated 141 complaints relating to unhygienic food practices and substandard food;
• investigated 59 complaints on various health and safety issues;
• provided 8 briefing sessions on various health and safety issues;
• provided 4 warehouse training forums;
• served 5 improvement notices;
• received and actioned 57 food hazard warnings;
• investigated 482 noise complaints, resulting in 19 noise abatement notices being served, 2 seizures of noise making equipment and 1 prosecution;
• investigated 69 complaints regarding smoke from bonfires;
• received 91 complaints about drainage issues;
• responded to 174 planning applications.
• issued 840 licensces relating to public entertainment, street trading, animal establishments and other activities that require licensing.
