Licensing Policy 2008 - 2011
Under the Licensing Act 2003 the Licensing Authority is required to produce a Statement of Licensing Policy every 3 years. The statement of Licensing Policy must set out how the Licensing Authority will administer and process applications made under the Licensing Act 2003 and it must adhere to guidance set out by the secretary of state.
The Policy can be reviewed and andended where necessary at any time during the three year period. Any review has to be consulted on and any amendments must be formally approved by the Council's licensing Commitee.
The latest version of the Basingstoke and Deanme Borough Council, statement of Licensing Policy was approved in November for implementation from 7 January 2008 for three years.
