Community premises are exempt from having to pay application fees for Premises Licences permitting only regulated entertainment.
Community Groups will have to pay for Premises Licences if they want alcohol sales. There is no exemption on Personal Licenses.
Community premises committees need to look at the events and facilities that they offer so they can decide what type of licence to apply for.
