If someone is smoking in no-smoking premises or a smoke-free vehicle, you should complain in the first instance to the manager or the person in charge of the premises or vehicle.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, telephone the national Smokefree Compliance Line 0800 5871 667 to register your complaint. The line will be open from 1 July 2007, seven days a week, including public holidays. Calls will be charged at local rate. All complaints to the compliance line will be passed to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and will be followed up as appropriate.
