When the council offices are closed telephone calls into 01256 844844 are diverted to a recorded message. If you stay on the line, you will be connected to Communicare' who provide a telephone answering service outside of office hours.
'Communicare' will be able to contact a member of council staff on your behalf if the matter you are reporting can be handled outside of office hours. Alternatively they will take details and forward these onto the council when the offices
re-open.
An example of an emergency would be if a tree fell onto a highway during a storm, once you have reported it, Communicare will call the appropriate member of staff.
