CONSULTATION: BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL’S DRAFT STRATEGIC APPROACH TO PARKING
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is currently consulting on its draft “Parking: A Strategic Approach”. The focus for the draft document is to set a framework within which policies and decisions on parking and related matters will be made.
The consultation draft document is attached, as is a questionnaire regarding the proposals set out in the draft document. The consultation period will continue until Thursday, 7 August. If you want to respond but do not think you will be able to by this date, please let us know by emailing or calling us (contact details below).
The development of this document is the first stage of work on parking within the Borough. As individual projects are developed there will be further public
engagement as appropriate.
Comments and completed questionnaires need to either be posted to:
Forward Planning and Transport Manager
Civic Offices, London Road
BASINGSTOKE
Hampshire RG21 4AH
or the answers and information emailed to: ldf@basingstoke.gov.uk
If you have any queries regarding the consultation or the draft document please contact me on 01256 845318, or tim.richings@basingstoke.gov.uk . The council aims to agree a final strategic approach to parking in October 2008, after we have considered the feedback from the consultation.
