When the Council offices are closed all telephone calls divert to a recorded message. If you stay on the line, you will be connected to 'Communicare', our out of hours emergency service.
The Council provides 'Communicare' with a list of contact numbers to cover the services we provide, and they will take details, and contact the relevant person for you.
For instance, a tree may fall onto a highway during a storm, or there may be flooding. Once you have reported it, 'Communicare' will call the appropriate engineer.
There's always someone on the end of the phone to help!
