Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996

Ms Seymour was convicted under Section 3 of the Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996 for failing to clear up after her dog when it had fouled in a public area. She was prosecuted after failing to pay the fixed penalty charge that had been served on her for the offence. She was sentenced to pay £50 fine and £50 towards the prosecution costs.
