Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council v Carson and Co Estate Agents Ltd

On Monday 17 May 2004, at Basingstoke Magistrates Court, Carson & Co Estate Agents Ltd pleaded guilty to an offence of the unauthorised display of an estate agents board on a telegraph pole at the junction of Hill Road and Laurel Close, Oakley, Hampshire.

Having heard mitigation on behalf of the Company, the Magistrates fined Carson & Co Estate Agents Ltd. £750, and awarded the Council £440 towards its costs.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council v Mann Countrywide

On Wednesday 7 April 2004, at Alton Magistrates Court, Mann Countrywide pleaded guilty to an offence of the unauthorised display of an estate agents board on land at the junction of the A30 with Dickens Lane, Old Basing, Hampshire.

Having heard mitigation on behalf of the Company, the Magistrates fined Mann Countrywide £750 and awarded the Council £250 towards its costs.
