- general consultancy in the field of town and country planning law
- chairing the council’s Information Strategy Board
- attendance at committees, panels and working parties
- the constitution
Born in Lancaster and educated at Lancaster Royal Grammar School and the University of Nottingham, Chris was a trainee solicitor at Lancaster City Council and held a number of posts at Hart District Council before moving to Basingstoke and Deane in 1988.

George is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and deals with all matters relating to landlord and tenant, licences, conveyancing litigation and advice in connection with the council's property portfolio.

Lisa supervises all aspects of Planning & Regulatory law within her team as well as undertaking a case-load of Town & Country Planning matters. When needed she is also Legal Advisor to the Council's Scrutiny Committee. Lisa read law at the University of Hertfordshire graduating in 1999, gained the Legal Practice Certificate with commendation at the College of Law Guildford in 2000 and then qualified as a solicitor in 2002 after completing her training contract with us here.
