Over the last two years Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has been working to improve its partnership working locally, regionally and nationally. A Partnership Framework and Toolkit has been produced to assist Members and officers identify the partnerships they are working in, improve the governance arrangements of partnerships and ensure that partnership working supports corporate, local and national priorities.
At the current time partnerships are being mapped against the Partnership Toolkit and the results presented to the Council's Scrutiny Committee as milestones are met.
The work the Council is doing to support its partnership working will ensure that the Council's partnerships remain effective, offer value for money and meet the requirements of the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) and the new Comprehensive Area Assessments.
