Housing, Homelessness and Benefits Strategy 2008-2011

Our Housing Strategy aims to ensure that all residents of the borough can continue to live in an exciting and vibrant community, and can access good quality, well-maintained and affordable housing within a safe and prosperous environment. As a council we want to create sustainable communities where social exclusion or discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, religion, ethnic origin or sexual orientation, cannot exist.

We have developed a joint housing, homelessness and benefits strategy which we will update annually to provide information for all interested parties on our progress in implementing the strategy and any new developments.
