Local Development Scheme (LDS)
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) provides a 'project plan' identifying which local development documents will be produced, in what order and when. The Local Development Scheme acts as the starting point for the community and stakeholders to find out about the authority's planning policies in respect to a particular place or issue, and the status of these policies. It also outlines the details of and timetable for the production of all documents that make up the Local Development Framework over a three-year period.
The Local Development Scheme for the Borough is to be reviewed over the course of the Summer 2008, in order to take into account the amended LDF regulations and updates to PPS12. Revised PPS12 can be viewed by clicking here. Updates will be placed on this webpage when they are available.
