Supplementary Planning Document SPDs

The Borough Council is currently in the process of preparing several Supplementary Planning Documents or SPDs, to provide additional guidance to the policies in the Adopted Local Plan. This includes the following:

• Affordable Housing
• Design and Sustainability
• Farm Diversification and Traditional Farmsteads
• Housing Mix and Lifetime Mobility Standards
• Landscape and Biodiveristy
• Mulfords Hill, Tadley Development Brief
• South View Conservation Area.
• Residential Parking Standards

Each of these documents are at different stages in the production, which involves the following key stages:

• Issues and Options consultation
• Draft SPD
• Final SPD

A further part of the process is the undertaking of a Sustainability Appraisal in order to consider and test the economic, environmental and social impacts of the guidance.
