Farm Diversification and Traditional Farmsteads SPD
The Farm Diversification and Traditional Farmsteads Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted by the Council on 26th June 2007.
The SPD provides planning guidance and detail for applicants, Councillors and Council officers on future proposals that encompass either, or both, of these planning issues.
A supporting Sustainability Appraisal (SA) has also been produced, which assesses the SPD against the likely economic, environmental and social implications of applying the document.
Additionally, an Adoption Statement and a Public Consultation: Statement of Compliance, which are both required by current planning legislation have been published. The Adoption Statement can be found below and the latter will be added to the website in due course.
The adopted SPD and all the supporting documents are available for public inspection in the Borough Council receptions areas and at libraries across the Borough and are available below. A version of the SPD will be provided in an illustrated PDF format in due course.
