Housing Mix and Lifetime Mobility Standards
The Council has now adopted the Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Housing Mix and Lifetime Mobility Standards. This SPD supports the Housing Mix Policy within the Local Plan 1996-2011, which was adopted in July 2006. It outlines the background and justification for the Housing Mix Policy and provide more information about how the Policy is implemented through the Development Control process.
The SPD was adopted at the meeting of the Cabinet in June and follows periods of consultation at the Issues and Options stage (Sept / Oct 2006) and on a draft SPD (Feb /Mar 2007). Final versions of the SPD are available to download in a PDF format below.
Also provided below are copies of the Sustainability Appraisal, the Statement of Compliance and the Adoption Statement.
