Residential Parking Standards
The Council has now adopted the Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Residential Parking Standards in support of Policy A1 of the Local Plan 1996-2011. The SPD was adopted at the meeting of the Cabinet in July 2008 and follows public consultation on a draft SPD (May/June 2008).
The SPD provides information on residential parking standards and design guidance and will apply to planning applications submitted on or after 1 September 2008.
The final version of the SPD is available to download below together with copies of the Sustainability Appraisal, the Public Consultation Statement: Statement of Compliance and the Adoption Statement.
