In early 2004, the Council adopted Supplementary Planning Guidance on telecommunications development.
The guidance sets out the relevant legislation, the planning policy context, the Council’s requirements regarding submissions for development, consultation practices, and advice on the siting and appearance of telecommunications development.
In particular, it should be considered by operators and their agents before submitting applications for telecommunications development.
