Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is responsible for issuing licences for a wide range of activities.  Most of these are handled by the Licensing Team, although Environmental, Food and Housing related licences are issued by the Environmental Health Team.

Licensing enables the council to protect the public by ensuring licence holders are fit and proper persons to carry out the licensing activity and to set and maintain standards expected of licence holders.

Please visit our Environmental Health pages for environmental, food and housing related licences.
