Where can I use my concession?

National Bus Pass

The new national bus pass entitles the holder to make free journeys on any scheduled local bus services throughout England between the hours of 9:30am and 11pm and all day weekends and bank holidays.  In addition, bus passes issued by this council allows its holders to travel within the borough on scheduled bus services at any time of day.

The pass will not be valid in Scotland or Wales, charges will still apply on buses in these areas. Within London the pass cannot be used on trains or the Underground. The pass is only valid on local bus services and cannot be used on national coach express services or any similar coach service.

The national pass issued by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is in a plastic card format and will be valid for two years expiring on 31 March 2010.

If you move to a different area you must apply to your new local council and return your bus pass/ travel tokens to the originating council.
