Local Plan Update Regulation 18 consultation

From Monday 22 January 2024 to Monday 4 March 2024 the council held a consultation on the draft Local Plan Update (Regulation 18). The statutory consultation asked respondents to give their views on the proposed spatial strategy and draft policies and site allocations. The consultation provided all stakeholders with the opportunity to shape the Local Plan update.

Outcomes of the regulation 18 consultation

There was a good response to the consultation, with over 1,600 representations made and approximately 7,000 comments. The representations can be viewed on the council's CiviQ consultation portal.

The council thanks all those who took the time to help shape the Plan moving forwards. The council is currently reviewing all of the representations and outcomes will be published later in the year. For more details on the next steps please see the Local Development Scheme.
