The new play area at the Lime Pits in Old Basing opened in 2023.
A new 30-metre zip wire, a decked slide, a tractor multi-play unit and a challenging agility trail are among the new pieces of equipment that have been installed as part of our play refurbishment programme.
The rejuvenated play space now includes zoned areas for toddlers and pre-school aged children, juniors and teenagers, to provide children of varying ages and abilities with a challenging, fun and inclusive play area. In addition to the new play facilities, families can also walk, picnic and enjoy the rich wildlife within the wider Lime Pits site.
The Lime Pits has two free of charge car parks. The car parks close from 8pm to 7am from 1 April to 31 October and from 5pm to 7am from 1 November to 31 March.
